Hi, there. We're Paw Envy.

My name is Shelly Bartell and welcome to Paw Envy!  I hope that you will find this boutique a unique experience.

Though I am a Wisconsin native, I have called Kansas City my home for the last 8 years. After a successful career in corporate finance for several multi-national corporations,  I am finally ready to achieve my life long dream that is Paw Envy.

My vision for this store is to offer a unique experience to my customers. I have always held the belief that this store should not be just another dog and cat supply store, but a place that is welcoming for you and your pets, a place where you are compelled to see each and every thing that is in here. 

In doing my research about the other stores in Kansas City, I wanted to combine the best of them and offer a unique variety of products and services for you and your beloved pets. Here you will find the best foods, hand baked treats and goodies, custom embroidery for many unique gifts along with leashes and collars, professional grooming services and self-service washing stations.

Perhaps most importantly, I wish to work with local adoption agencies to host adoption days to find forever homes for loving dogs and cats. Here your pets are free to experience the aromas of the baked goods, the sights of the toys and the joy of being free and welcomed by my team and I.
